Leila joined Vanguard in 2015, following a successful career as a technology and contract lawyer. Her diverse background and entrepreneurial work ethic, as well as her extensive knowledge of SF’s technology landscape, has made her a top contender for representing tech industry professionals in the sale or acquisition of real estate. She is self-motivated, diligent, technology-driven and always looking for creative solutions on behalf of her clients.

Prior to earning her real estate license, she founded Bedrock, a business and intellectual property law firm in 2010, which currently represents hundreds of founders and tech companies in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and beyond. Leila is also an investor and board member of various San Francisco tech companies. She founded Startup Documents (https://www.startupdocuments.com) in 2014, a site that automates the incorporation and legal document process for startups. Leila’s entire career has been dedicated to lowering the barriers to entry for entrepreneurs and advocating strategically in their best interests.

In addition to diligently representing clients in real estate transactions, Leila is also an advisor and active participant at both Silicon Valley’s Founder Institute (a role she shares with executives from Yahoo, Google, Tesla, Mint.com, and others) and Stanford University’s CodeX Center for Legal Informatics, where she is proposing significant updates to the current Model Rules of Professional Responsibility to make way for new legal tech and more efficient contract processes.
